Jigsaw School has exciting opportunities for positive and resilient individuals to work alongside our teaching team helping autistic children of varying ages and abilities. This role could give you the chance to make a real difference and play a significant role in the daily care and development of our pupils.
How will you contribute to the team?
- Supporting pupils with the development of skills including their social and emotional development
- Working alongside our teaching team to deliver learning activities that aid pupils to meet their learning and development objectives
- Preparing materials for lessons and pupil programmes
- Supporting with off-site educational visits such as horse-riding and swimming
- Assisting pupils with indoor/outdoor playtimes and snack/lunchtimes
- Preparing, monitoring and tiding the lunch room and break areas
- Providing personal care including toileting and feeding, encouraging and enabling good hygiene, whilst also promoting independence
- Building good relationships with pupils, teachers and parents

- The ability to reach us (a driver’s licence or access to a lift is necessary due to our remote location)
